Last few spaces available on  our Summer Theory Workshops.

We are running two Theory Summer schools over the holiday period for Basic Level and Grade 5. These courses are available to our existing students as well as students from other teachers and locations.

Basic Theory:  On this course we will cover Basic Theory including reading and notating music and all elements of the Associated Board Theory Grades 1 to 3. This will give a good  grounding for pupils who are currently at approximately Grade 2 Practical level on any instrument. The session will be held at our Burton on Trent school on 23rd – 25th August from 10:00am – 1:00pm every day. Fee: £65 for the three days including the course materials.

Grade 5 Theory: This course will cover all topics from the Associated Board Grade 5 theory exam enabling students to learn all aspects of the theory that they will need to pass their Grade 5 in order to go on and take their Grade 6 practical examinations. Students will take a mock exam at the end of the course and will be able to enter for the real thing  in the Autumn exam session if they wish to. The course will take place at our Burton on Trent school on 17th – 20th August from 10:00am – 2:30pm every day. Fee £86 for the four days including all course materials.

These courses are available to any age and we welcome students onto these courses who currently have lessons with us or from other teachers.
